Professor Xue Shepu, male, born in 1917, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from Chongqing Central University in 1943, received his masters from the same university in 1947, and received his doctorate from Washington University, St. Louis in 1951.Xue Shepu provided a theoretical basis for cell differentiation roles and its control while contributing to research concerning Chinese male reproductive biology and birth control that absorbed gossypol. He established a cybrid model i.e. cytoplasmt of red blood cell fused with marrow tumor cells. He discovered that several factors was related to denucleation,and was the first to discover that EDDF existed in mammalian red blood cells which could reverse malignantcy of cancer cells. Xue’s purified active matter had a highly active growth inhibition effect on tumor cells and proposed a nucleus concentration and denucleation theory and new concepts of cancer treatment .
