"原创性研发果蝇中枢神经系统单细胞膜片钳记录系统,这项研究与2004年3月15日被美国“SCIENTIST”杂志报道,题目为“Probing the mind of Drosophila”。该研究成果是世界首次对活体脑的单细胞记录,探知意识的电信号基础,被誉为果蝇神经生物学进程中里程碑式的科学事件,可用于研究基因,蛋白,电信号,脑功能的相互关系,为探索意识与电信号做了基础工作。 世界首次发现人的基底前脑中有神经干细胞的标志物——巢蛋白免疫反应细胞的表达,于2002年发表在的“BrainResearch”杂志上。该研究显示,人类成人大脑是有可能再生的,为当前的脑科学,老年医学指明了发展方向。留学美国期间,分别在国际核心杂志《神经科学杂志》(JournalofNeuroscience,IF,8.4),《细胞》(CELL,IF,29.2)等顶尖生物医学杂志上发表了多篇具有创新性的高水平科研文章,回国后指导课题组成员围绕“阿尔茨海默症机理研究及小分子治疗”等方向,发表了三十余篇SCI论文,申请了二十余项专利,主持和参与了三项国家自然科学基金、一项科技部“863计划”项目和六项广东省科技厅科技计划项目。"
