主要从事肥胖、2型糖尿病、非酒精性脂肪肝等代谢性疾病分子病理机制和干预研究。参与研究的项目《中国人2型糖尿病易感基因生物学功能及作用机制的研究》获2008年中华医学科技奖三等奖。2011年获北京协和医学院“协和新星”资助。2011年获医科院基础所“先进科研工作者”称号。2018年参加中组部和团中央“博士服务团”，挂职西藏自治区人民医院。2019年7月获国家卫生健康委直属机关优秀共产党员称号。国家自然科学基金，北京市自然科学基金评审专家。iSCIENCE, Life Science, Cell Proliferation，Plos One等SCI期刊审稿专家。迄今为止，已发表学术论文30余篇，包括作为通讯作者或第一作者发表在J Hepatol.，eLife，Sci China Life Sci.，Mol Metab.，FASEB J, iScience，J Proteome Res.等杂志。
