本课题组在二十世纪九十年代我国人类基因组计划启动时,应用差异显示RT-PCR和比较蛋白质组学等分析技术,从不同发育阶段的胎脑及分化前后的神经系统肿瘤细胞中分离、克隆到一批新的在神经细胞不同发育或分化阶段高表达或特异表达编码基因的全长cDNA。在建立了比较系统的基因结构与功能研究体系的基础上近几年对其中部分基因及其编码的蛋白质开展了比较系统的结构与功能研究,初步揭示了这些基因的生物学功能及发挥生物学功能的分子机制。 近年来实验室主要研究方向为神经发育和疾病发生的分子机理研究,从基因表达调控的多个层次上系统研究神经系统发育过程中神经细胞增殖、分化的调控机制和神经系统疾病发生的细胞分子机理,为脑发育以及脑重大疾病的预警、诊断和治疗提供理论基础。 研究方向: 神经发育和神经系统疾病的分子机理研究 目前课题组在研的部分科研项目: 国家重点研发计划 2016YFA0100702 国家重点研发计划 2016YFC0902502 国家自然基金 31670789 国家自然基金 31671115

彭小忠研究员,现任课题组组长。1983-1988年毕业于中南大学湘雅医学院(湖南医科大学)临床医学系并获医学学士学位。1988-1991年任中国医学科学院医学生物学研究所生物化学与分子生物学研究室实习研究员。1996年就读于中国协和医科大学微生物学专业并获理学博士学位。1996-2000年在美国纽约州立大学石溪分校微生物学和分子遗传学系做博士后。2000年至今任中国医学科学院基础医学研究所生物化学与分子生物学系副研究员、研究员并先后任硕、博士生导师。2007年入选教育部新世纪人才支持计划,并担任“发育与生殖研究”重大科学研究计划项目“非编码RNA在神经和肌肉早期发育过程中的功能研究及其体内示踪的研究”项目首席科学家。2008年获国家杰出青年科学基金项目资助。2010年获“协和学者”特聘教授称号。2013年入选国家百千万人才工程,并被授予“有突出贡献中青年专家”荣誉称号。现任中国医学科学院医学灵长类动物研究中心主任,中国医学科学院医学生物学研究所常务副所长。
